At Tennyson we have much successful experience in advising and representing both residential and commercial landlords and tenants in actions for lease forfeiture and arrears of rent/breach(es) of covenant (whether you are a defendant or a claimant) or relief from forfeiture/possession.

Actions for forfeiture of a long residential lease based on arrears of rent and /or breaches of other covenants in a lease may be protracted. Also very expensive for both landlord and tenant. Parties are tied together by their long term contractual lease relationship. Litigation is often tense with an atmosphere of mistrust between the parties.
